Given recent events, we have undertaken an effort to migrate all of our services to Canada and minimize dealing with American companies.
Currently all of our hosting infrastructure is now located in Canada (dedicated/virtual servers, cloud solutions, remote backups, and so forth).
Unfortunately we still have to deal with some American companies for now – particularly Amazon and Microsoft. However they do employ Canadians and do have Canadian data centers. We are in investigating moving these services as well but finding a cost-effective alternative that offers the same performance and flexibility is tough.
