Get Well Mr. Jobs
Just a short post to recognize a true technology icon, Steve Jobs. He was one of the original pioneers of the personal computer as one of the co-founders of Apple back in the 1970′s. He re-invented the walkman (remember that) with the IPod and revolutionized mobile phones with the IPhone – not to mention bringing Apple computers back to popularity (not just used by schools and fanatics). Can’t forget Pixar either, he helped pioneer computer animated movies – what a resume he has including 230+ patents.
If you are 12 years old, live in a cave or just want to learn more about the origin of personal computing, watch this movie to see how a few nerds and a lot of hard work (and assembly code) changed the world of computers.

Whether you like his computers or not, his contribution to technology will be remembered forever. Not to mention that Apple is now the most valuable company in the world at 150+ billion, what a legacy to say the least.
Unfortunately, with the recent news of Steve Jobs stepping down, the outlook doesn’t look good and this story has a scary familiarity to the recent Jack Layton story in Canadian Politics. We wish you a fast recovery and hope to see you on a stage with a black curtain, promoting the newest in computing innovations.
Now that I have depressed you, watch this video to cheer yourself up.
